A Subtle Mind
Hello To All:
As I compare the Loving Kindness exercise and the Subtle mind exercise I find that I liked the Subtle mind exercise better than the Loving Kindness.  It was easier for me to stay focused by using my breath and the ocean sound was nice and relaxing.  It could be that I’m becoming more accustomed to meditation in this form, but I found the Subtle mind was easier to follow.

Even before this class the realization that everything is connected was true for me, if I was off in any one area of my wellness I wasn’t complete in all of them.  I believe that we are a spirit, we have a mind, and we live in a body, if one area is off balance than it will so up in one or both of the others.

Thanks,
Darlene

  1. Darlene - It seems as if everyone has had the same reactions about the meditation exercises. I keep hoping that it is our studies and openness that is making the exercises easier! You are right on about not having a complete balance in all areas of our mind, body, and spirit. It does seem like we take care of some of us but not all os us, forgetting mostly the spirit part of our awareness. I wish you well on your continued journey to integral health. Just think after this week....we're half way there!! - Katie
